Trying to find a concept or direction I want to take this is rather simple and yet complex at the same time. Here I have a character that I want to tell a story. But being a music producer, my first instinct is to make him sing. But this is a visual entity and he (I-Roc-Aye) can be animated to dance, plus I wanted to tell his backstory. But how? Before I take the big steps, I have to tell myself to take the little steps.
So first and foremost, I want my audience to have an audio visual experience. So that's where I will begin. I will take everyone on a journey, musically and visually. Welcome to the I-Roc-Aye experience!
